AS A SILKWORM WEAVING & DYING AWAY AMID ITS PERFORMANCE

IN TONE WITH THE BEYOND - JACQUELINE DU PRÉ

The final studying year, 1969th. Zagreb. The Student Campus on Lascina. One, God knows from where obtained gramophone, and the student collection of gramophone records, acquired, just like books, at the expense of the student's (concave) stomach. Part of the collection miraculously survived all later communist police raids, and war shelling of Sarajevo home (1992.). Among the survivors, here is one:

HAYDN: Cello Concerto in D, Op. 101
MONN: Cello Concerto in G minor
JACQUELINE DU PRÉ
LONDON SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA / SIR JOHN BARBIROLLI
Valda Aveling, harpsichord

MUSIC OF MY YOUTH, IN TONE WITH THE BEYOND!

EDWARD ELGAR: Cello Concerto in E minor, Op. 85
JACQUELINE DU PRÉ & BERENBOIM
- Part I.
